Hi all, TBTI has a call out for submissions for a small-scale fisheries open house for WOW (World Oceans Week) in June. Is anyone considering a submission or looking for others to participate?
Please visit their page (http://toobigtoignore.net/opportunity/small-scale-fisheries-open-house-…) for more information and submit your idea by 15 April.
At Blue Ventures we're involved in three sessions:
1. Where are the small-scale fishers? The impact of 30x30 on coastal communities (led by Blue Ventures)
2. ‘Knowledge is power’ - building capacity for sustainable small-scale fisheries (led by WWF, with EDF)
3. Unpacking chapter 9 of the SSF guidelines in a post COVID era (led by FAO, with WorldFish, Abalobi, and ICSF)
Very keen to know about other sessions that others are involved in- please post here!!
