Nelayan Desa Muara Gading Mas, Kec. Labuhan Maringgai Kab. Lampung Timur (13/11/2021)

Fishermen in Muara Gading Mas Village, Kec. Labuhan Maringgai Kab. East Lampung (13/11/2021)

Since the COVID-19 pandemic hit all countries including Indonesia, almost all business sectors have experienced a decline, including the capture fisheries sector. Fishermen experience difficult times, especially the Blue Swimming Crab fishermen. reduced catches and selling prices, making it more difficult for fishermen.

To welcome this year's crab season, which usually comes in December - March or about 4-5 months ahead. Fishermen hope that this year's catch will increase and be balanced with a high selling value, as expected by Mr. Imam Saroni who is a fisherman who catches crabs in Muara Gading Mas village (picture).
