In collaboration with several other organizations, WWF has led the development of an online training program to provide fishery stakeholders worldwide with the knowledge and skills necessary to develop and implement fishery improvement projects (FIPs)—without having to travel to in-person conferences or workshops. This has culminated in the recent launch a new online FIP training platform (www.fiptraining.org) which is available in English and Spanish. The program includes seven courses along with case studies to reinforce learning and resources to help coordinators, implementers and other stakeholders in their FIP journey.

I hope that you are able to check out the FIP training site and share with anyone who is interested in learning more about FIPs. You can also read a blog about the new platform here: https://www.worldwildlife.org/blogs/sustainability-works/posts/new-plat….

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to me (Wendy.Goyert@wwfus.org) or Stephanie Bradley (Stephanie.Bradley@wwfus.org).

We hope this training is useful!
